Grow your Ruby meetup

A shared home for Rubyists across Europe.

Who we are

A non-profit network for the people who keep Ruby thriving across Europe.

We connect the organizers, speakers, and developers behind Europe's local Ruby communities — helping talks, calls for papers, and introductions travel between them.

Every group keeps its own identity, priorities, and pace. We help when it's useful and stay out of the way when it's not.

Community Highlights

  1. Community support

    Ruby Europe Community Support

The Ruby Europe Community Support is a lightweight program created for Ruby meetup organizers across Europe. Whether your meetup is just getting started or has been running for years - if you want to bring Ruby developers together, this grant is for you.

  2. Meetup series

    Ruby + AI Meetups

A traveling Ruby + AI series that brought practical machine-learning work to local meetups across Europe — from MCP in production to running LLMs offline. Each stop paired local organizers around a shared theme; the Paris edition alone drew more than a hundred Rubyists.

    The Spain Triangle Project

The project connected Ruby communities in Barcelona, Valencia, and Madrid through linked local meetups. Barcelona and Madrid hosted November stops; Valencia's event was postponed after severe flooding, keeping the project grounded in local circumstances.
